tonym Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Can anyone tell me where own made voice recording wav or ogg files should be placed. Can the files be put into the miz file and then accessed from there or can they only be put into the sound files collection?
Jona33 Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Put them anywhere, in the trigger menu select open next to the sound and then select it wherever it is. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
dooom Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 I heavily suggest you research the utilization of voice files - definately try to record your files in .ogg at 8000 Hz project rate to keep the .miz file size down. I use Audacity1.3Beta... its free and works well. Mojeaux Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 Where to put custom sounds I found, that by making a "common folder" in the "C:\Users\myname\AppData\Saved Games\.... then making a folder there that has been named, "Black Shark 2 and A10 C Common folder" you can start to add your mission project folders there! In that folder keep your custom sounds for that missions and special photos that are of the 1024 x 1024 jpg nature for briefing pic's! You can easily find them each time you refer to them while making that perfect .miz... This way..you can edit from the ME of Black Shark and the A10..going back and forth. this makes for great ease of finding your material and your missions when your ready to find that mission and fly .ya know..as you test the .miz hehe... 16th Mojeaux out [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
