chromium Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Hi, I have a strange behaviour in BS2 and in A10-C: if I activate cockpit shadow, than I will load every missions as I set the scenery to "low" settings (no 3D objects in cities, no trees, airport/units are ok), regardless of my options settings. I have an E8500 Intel CPU, 4 Gb RAM, nVidia GTX 470, motherboard P5KC. Only locked settings on videocard is anisotropic filter to 16x Any advice? An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.
Nate--IRL-- Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 That's really odd. Is the "Use these settings for all missions" box checked? Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

Nate--IRL-- Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Humour me and try opening and then re-saving a mission in the mission editor and then fly it again. Do this with the Cockpit shadows on. EDIT: Do you have a 64bit OS? Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

michaeljee Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Very nice information here. Moreover as I see, this question is very actual for many people indeed. Personally I totally agree with author opinion about this subject and I think that it would be really interesting to create such discussion with other this website visitors. Anyway thanks a lot one more time for the great and informative publication. And I will definitely be waiting for more such nice entries like this one from you. 1 Both are the exams sites PMI-001 that is most demanded now a days and other is 642-902 that is going top rated .About this forum cockpit shadow, scenery
chromium Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 as it seems that you really want to know if it's solved, let me say that it is not. But as no one answer, I choose to do not bump cause seems clear that this is related to my pc config. Anyway, thanks for the useful answer :) Author of DSMC, mod to enable scenario persistency and save updated miz file Stable version & site: https://dsmcfordcs.wordpress.com/ Openbeta: https://github.com/Chromium18/DSMC The thing is, helicopters are different from planes.
