jp203000 Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I saw a video the other day ,and in the video ,as soon as the real world A10 pilot released a bomb ,there's a beautifu femal voice saying:' twenty seconds" ,you know it's the remaining time before impact . So is it possible.......in our great game?:D
EtherealN Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Coul you link that video? I wonder; are you certain that it wasn't the pilot reporting to ground forces? :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
Devrim Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Then, that brought something in my mind. Will we be able to select gender of pilot? :D (Of course, just a joke.) Grimes Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 It would be a nice option to at least change the voice of the pilot. Either through additional sound files and/or pitch changes like ARMA... The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Cali Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 In BMS you can change the voice of the pilot, they have about 12-12 pre-set voices. i7-4820k @ 3.7, Windows 7 64-bit, 16GB 1866mhz EVGA GTX 970 2GB, 256GB SSD, 500GB WD, TM Warthog, TM Cougar MFD's, Saitek Combat Pedals, TrackIR 5, G15 keyboard, 55" 4K LED
jp203000 Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 I am sure it's not the pilot because it sounds like a warning tone , and I'll try to find it though it may take a long time.
Demongornot Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Don't forget that its maybe a woman in another aircraft, on the ground or like a lot of time in the control center the radio effect can look like a computer voice sometime, or maybe you have just watch a movie and every movie where exaggerated and show false things... EtherealN Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Aye, when speaking over radio, it is often a good idea to try to speak with clarity - especially if what you are saying has relevance to when there will be a huge explosion downrange... This might make the speech sound a bit stilted (like is common for Betty and similars) and add radio and other things, as well as the recording equipment itself (it's an aircraft, not a sound studio), and you might get something that doesn't sound like one would expect speech to sound like. (And of course the common knee-jerk reaction to female voices in fighter aircraft playing with memory. :P ) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
