CTR Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 What is more important to you: A correct Software or additional Featues ? [sigpic][/sigpic] Flanker driver since 1996 DxDiag.txt
Demongornot Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Both can be possible, the problem of the bug is that at every new patch we see new bug coming... And if ED give us an SDK we will able to see a massive number of features. Actually ED work to several thing, new aircraft for the military contract and soon to the civilian version, Flaming Cliff 3, Combined Arms, bugfix, new feature and Flying Legend Aircraft and Nevada and maybe other thing too. ED are overload of work i find and with SDK we can create our own feature for everyone in the community like flyable F-16 for Flaming Cliff, same thing for Tanker, new texture and effect like wing vapor, new explosion and more impressive thing that ED can officially including to DCS series... And without new feature to create (just the time to transform their SDK into public SDK) ED team will have more time for bug fix and new thing like Nevada new aircraft FC3 Combined Arms and other things... cichlidfan Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 I would appreciate having the current set of 'features' work correctly before any more new features are added. We have ATC, it is next to useless, but it is a feature. We have a functioning ADI, almost. Did we need the cockpit recorder light to come on when you hit the switch, more than properly funcitioning ATC or steering bars? If just switch was going to be fixed, how about the reversed AAP Steerpoint switch being corrected instead? New features, at this point, would only create new areas for more bugs and they also can potentially introduce additional bugs in portions of the code that were previously working.
