rweaves6 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Hi there, I'm ordering a new laptop and one of the options is a touch screen. I don't know anything about these and I was wondering would I then have a touch screen clickable cockpit? Sorry for the lame question, I want to be clear on this before I purchase.. Thanks [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
sinelnic Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Yes, the touchscreen acts as an input device analogous to a mouse. It feels great as you're physically touching the virtual cockpit buttons. In my experience it's really cool for relaxed training flights but for combat situations it's a little unreliable and you'd much rather prefer your joystick or keyboard buttons.
