Shaman Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 I have some strange issue with my X52 and LockOn. I've set X, and Y rotators which are on the throttle for roll and pitch trim. I've set that trim as AXES, and added some response curve, to make it more smooth and with better resolution near the center. Everything works fine for Su-27, Su-33, A-10, MiG-29.. but the trim doesn't work for Su-25,Su-25T at all! No response. I think I tried everything. Only the keycommands work. I don't understand what's up with these two planes :( 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer

Shaman Posted September 21, 2005 Author Posted September 21, 2005 Bug? I'm better, just 1 word reply. Thanks for nothing. Can someone more informed tell me what's up with that? 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer
bramski Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I think it's a characteristic of the su25. With all other a/c I can trim using my rotaries, with the 25/T I have to tap it in incrementally using a mapped command. What I did was edited my 25/T profile to use the thumb mouse on my x52 throttle for trimming. Set the mouse to bands in the editor, 3 bands on the x and y axes, 0-40%, 40-60%, 60-100% and map the trim commands to that for the 25/T. I also did the same so that when the pinkie button is held in I can slew my shkval cursor.
bramski Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 lol.. I need more coffee, I just noticed this thread is over a year old :D
zaelu Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 It's an old thing shamandgg, it is realy by design. SU25/SU25T are more realisticaly simulated and they don't have a trim on a wheel in real life so they don't have trim on slider/wheel in the sim. I can live with this but I didn't quite understand why they dont have a form of reset trims... cause is kinda difficult to reset trims by taping the hat and whatching the lights to lit again (counting... was it 6 or 7taps?) in a tight situation (read SAMs on your arse and you do wird aerobatics on the way out :) ). I know in real life the whole control stick moves when you trim and you "know" where center is.
