Slew control key assignments to have 8 positions instead of 4

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I use the PoV hat in the joystick with a modifier as the slew control. Ideally it would be an axis but in my joystick is 8 different positions. In the simulation there's only 4 assignments for slew (left, up, right, down) and I mapped the hat to this positions. The problem is that I can't slew diagonally, even if the joystick has the possibility to do so.

Would it be possible to add up-left, up-right, down-left and down-right key assignments?

IIRC the slew control is the only analog stick on the a10, so it would make sense to have it configurable as an axis.

Ich666, it is configurable as an axis.

But that does not help the poster, since he does not have a ministick available. ;)

Is it analog on TMWH?

Good suggestion for those of use with under-utilised PoV hat.

I have all on the pov: tms, dms, trim, cms, radios, slew, zoom and coolie. Just using different modifiers. It took me a couple of days to memorise the combinations of lalt, lctrl, lshift and lwin + pov, but now it works like a charm (except for the slew issue)

I do that too! seems completely natural by now. Took a while though...

Yes. Absolutely you can use the HAT for Shkval to move diagonally. I did.

But; Tucano, could please forgive me, I have to go out right now. I've just seen the topic and wanted to inform you immediately. I promise, I'll tell it with pictures at night (3-4 hours later).

See you.

Hi... I created a new thread. I hope you've been searching for this. And I hope it helps.

Good that it works for you. Unfortunately my controller does't have such software. I believe that what it does is combining the vertical and horizontal inputs when you move diagonally.

Oh my! I missed that. I don't know why I though this was about Saitek...
