So I decided to do some fiddling with the options, and I get all sorts of blinking preventing me from viewing the cockpit. Is that HDR or MSAA or which option? Its cool, but a frame killer..

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

no. no graphics profiler. I turn off the entire tasks including catalyst and MOM.exe. My normal settings which prevents this from happening are:

tex high

scene med

civ traffic off water medium

vis range medium

blur on

shadows med

res 1366 x 768

A. ratio 1.778

monitor 1 screen

cock disp. 512 (no each frame)

msaa 8x

HDR off

clutter/trees min

full screen and tsaa checked.

but sometimes, when I decide to render the tracks to OGV, I get that effect with looking at sunlight when the above settings are all maxed and checked.

The point of this thread is not to complain, but to know if there is indeed a pilot blinking feature in BS2, or whether my GPU is beginning to act like a prick..

If this only happens when you are capturing an OGV video then this obviously has something to with it. Maybe you should try another recording software, like Fraps.

Alright. I find it a pretty feat with HD vid making. But for in-game... No :/

Thanks fellas!
