enemy units not on waypoint

Hi guys. I tried mission editor for the first time and ran into a problem. The mission was very simple; fly one A-10 to waypoint 1 and bomb 3 insurgent fuel trucks. I made sure I put the trucks on the waypoint by using my mouse to show the map with the most detail around the waypoint when I placed the trucks. I then flew the mission and here's my problem: the trucks show up about 2-3 miles before the waypoint. I tried repositioning the waypoint and trucks but it doesn't help. I cannot get them together. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help.

Are you using the mouse wheel to zoom in on the map? Zoom in as much as possible and then place waypoint over trucks.

What is likely the case is your waypoint is not at ground level. Instead it has a set altitude above the targets. So when you fly toward the waypoint it appears to be beyond the targets when in actually it is directly above them. Try setting the waypoint altitude to 0, it should automatically put the waypoint at whatever altitude ground level is for that point.
