I never got good enough to decide one way or the other. I kind of liked it except of the being frequently massacred part...I'm talking offliine here (I am not a masochist:D).

Psst, there is no evidence what-so-ever that North Koreans have an APM above 50. SC2 is fun to watch, but I never got any good at it, typically my skill level is somewhere in between silver and gold league.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

It took me a moment to recall what APM was...I think every grey hair represents a dying brain cell.

EtherealN must be very busy...we are discussing SC2 and not a word out of him.:D

Oh yeah, I do like watching it!

I had to google APM. What a drag. Can't someone invent a device that beams knowledge in to your head all ready?

In other news, Kim Jong Un is not dead.

When people talk about Koreans that are good at Starcraft, they are all SOUTH Koreans. North Koreans don't own computers, and even if they did, there wouldn't be any electricity to operate them with, and there wouldn't be any internet to connect to.

And Starcraft 2 is awesome. It is a very good refinement of the "collect resources & build an army" style of RTS. It is the best of this kind of RTS ever produced, certainly more fun for most folks than WC3.

Personally, I could never get my APM above 50 or 60, and that limited me to the silver and gold leagues. I bet with practice, I could get it a bit higher though. The problem is, I just can't think fast enough. Maybe we should face off sometime, Grimes :)
