Daze Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Basically, I decided to connect a 20" screen in landscape mode to my PC and run a dual monitor setup as I want to be able to play DCS: A-10C on one screen and have manuals, checklists, Airfield diagrams etc on the other screen so that I don't have to alt+tab out to get the information off them. However, if I move my mouse onto the 20" monitor and click on something, the game minimizes on my main screen. I've searched Google and a lot of people are having the same problem, but I couldn't find any fixes. As all of the threads I came across were quite old I thought I'd make one myself to see if there is any way around this nowadays. PeterP Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 There is no fix for this behaviour while running the sim in Full-screen modus. What you are experiencing : "the game minimizes on my main screen" -is what Fullscren is all about - Windows dedicates all GPU power to run only the game - and don't waste processing cycles to run simultaneously the desktop. The only alternative for you is to run DCS in windowed mode - but you also have to take a loose in performance into account when running the sim windowed.
