Hi all

 

want to pick your brains !

 

I have four CH-47 Chinook's that are ment to start on a farp at mission start with AI off.

 

The problem I am having is this

 

Only one of the CH-47 is visible at start with AI off, and then with about 45 sec intervals the other 3 CH-47 appear with AI off.

 

They are working correctly i.e they spawn with AI off but why am I getting a delay for them spawning.

 

I want all four to be present at the start :helpsmilie:

This is a early stage for this mission but the ch-47 behaviour is making me go crazy ! lol

 

I want four ch-47 to be on the farp from the start but AI off, as I want to call one of them for a any of the 4 scenario's i have started ( AI on).

 

If you f2 the ch-47 while the scenario unfolds you will see them appear one after the other

Weird. It looks like this may just be the behavior that is forced upon helos at FARPs. I see no way around it, unfortunately. I tried fiddling with it, such as having later start times, having later start times and then activating all at mission start- looks like the game forces this on us... like 1min 10 secs between each new helo group at a FARP.

 

Anyway, do you really need all four helos? It looks like only one QRF will launch per run of the mission. Thus, if you're satisfied with a single helo, I'm pretty sure there is a suitable solution. Please stand by.

I will live with it, I am happy as its not something I can control

 

Yes I will be using all four ch-47 by the end of the mission :) my -=Shrek=- buddies are in for a hard time when I am finished with this mission lol.

Weird... the edit I had in mind for your mission ran into a stiff wall of CTD when I tried to apply it to your mission. I had the mind to try to reproduce the CTD, and report it to ED, but upon duplicating nearly the same set up in a simple, test/demo mission, it ran fine. :(
