New Mech Game. Reign of Thunder

Im not sure if anyone ever played Mechassault on the original xbox, but I know I logged a HUGE amount of hours on that game. After about 10 years, the company is making another one and beta signups opened today. You can sign up using this link and, if you want, put my name as the referrer. Since some of the people on the Dev team are ones who made Mechwarrior, I am very curious how they incorporate some simulation aspects into a game that will have a mostly arcade feel to it.

 

Also, does anyone know what ever became of that Mechwarrior-3015 teaser a bit ago? I have heard nothing since.

it become mech warrior online and they released a bunch of media already.

 

it looks much better than reign of thunder btw.

 

edit: i spoke too soon. it doesn't look much better, it looks 10x better.

 

compare the two in terms of graphics and mech design, and the trailers. reign of thunder looks like it's designed for children. mech warrior online looks like as close to a sim as a mech warrior game can get.

 

in fact i don't think you should put reign of thunder under the sim forum. it should be exchanged with the mech warrior online thread at the chit chat forum.
