Speed Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 (edited) Hey, Why fighter aircraft such as the F15 When they have the bomb mission They are not bombing directly but do Suit over the target before returning to bomb?? You mean, why do they circle around for a little while sometimes? Well, there IS a hidden attack heading variable in the "Bombing" task, if I remember correctly. You can unzip your mission files and check in a text editor to see if I'm right. It's been a while since I looked at an unzipped Bombing task from a "mission" file. Anyway, if I'm right, that could be the cause of what I think you might be talking about- maybe they are trying to fulfill the heading requirement? I'm not sure if the heading variable can be omitted or not, or is filled in automatically or not with triggered actions. HiJack Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 They need quite a long way up to the target (or point) to drop bombs directly. Try to experiment with their "task" also, if the task is "nothing" they seams more confused at times ;) (HJ)
