Battle of Britain II: Wings of Victory

I don't think Cliffs of Dover is ever going on sale, and no thanks to ED, I now have excessive and irrational urge to fly warbirds. I'm one button away from getting WoV-any objection? Better yet, ED should buy this for me.

Bought it...

This has the worst looking and the most confusing GUI ever! It looks as if the game was made in the 80s. I wanted to try the dynamic campaign but have no idea how to start it. lol Graphics aren't that great either. Those screen shots at A2A site look really good, but for some reason the game I bought doesn't look like those shots and I set everything to max. http://www.a2asimulations.com/bob/

The flight models feel pretty good, but I'm no pilot, so I don't know if what I feel is considered realistic or not. The planes do feel a lot better than IL2 though. Dog fighting is absolutely fantastic because the AI is just amazing. It reminded me of fighting humans in warbirds, but I'm guessing after a while they'll become predictable. But yeah, I believe you now, Bucic. :D

Thanks for the link. I'm spoiled by ED graphics and that's not saying much. :D I don't think I can be completely immersed in WoV with its dated graphics. Even after the latest update-2.11-it stills has that 1990s graphics engine feel, and 2.12 isn't going to change much. I do enjoy it when I'm dog fighting but that's about it.

Thanks for the offer but I won't be buying any more of anything for a while due to pending employment situation situation.

update:

Uninstalled BoBII. Aside from really, really ugly graphics with all its anomalies, game kept crashing in the middle of dog fighting, and all my drivers are up to date. The flight modeling feels really strange as well. Can these warbirds accelerate to 4-500 kmh in seconds and are able maintain that kind of speed with no problem what so ever? The 110 wouldn't stall no matter how hard I yanked the stick and all the flyables takes forever to slow down? WTF?
