Haegar Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Some days ago I got my new X52 and everything worked fine. Then I installed "Cam2Pan" and from this moment on I got problems with the "in cockpit zoom". The sight always jumped back to "zero position". As already mentioned in this forum I found a little additional progamm called newView that solved the problem. JaBoG32_Prinzartus also was able to fix his zoom problems with this workaround, so it seems to work for different configurations. But now, after installing "newView" I got another glitch: After "Lock-on" has finished loading a mission and the 3d-sight opens (where you have to press "S" to start the simulation), "Lock-on" refuses to accept any keypressings while all achses-inputs from the HOTAS are working fine. I have to use ALT-Tab to switch to the desktop and back once to reactivate the keys. But "Lock-on" doesn't like ALT-Tab and this brings up graphic problems. Currently I avoid this by flying in windowed mode, but I assume this lowers the frame-rate. Anybody got an idea? I realy would appreciate this!
S77th-GOYA Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 The only fix I've seen is to close and reopen LOMAC.
Haegar Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 Senseless, because everytime I start LO this happens (since I "fixed" the zoom issue by installing NewView).
Force_Feedback Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 and if you uninstall it? Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
Haegar Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 Just reinstalled it - no change, still no keys after loadig a mission :(
Guest ruggbutt Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 Neither of the TrackIR wannabees are supported by LOMAC. It sounds to me that they're interfering w/your ability to send keypresses, like they're "trapping" the keypresses. Look in the options menu of whichever you have installed and see if there's the ability to "untrap" the keybinds.
Force_Feedback Posted October 4, 2005 Posted October 4, 2005 How about you uninstall the program, wipe the program folders and clear the registry entries Oh, and don't reinstall it. Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
Haegar Posted October 4, 2005 Author Posted October 4, 2005 Yes - deleting the registry entry made it. I even discovered a "Naturalpoint" folder in the registry. I assume this messed the the cockpit zoom up - maybe. Anyway - all entrys incl. naturalpoint folder are gone. I can use the keyboard again and I have no zoom issues anymore. Thank you all for your "brainworks" :)
