darkstar130 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 I'm making this thread in hopes that we can build a database of technical drawings for modders and pit builders. I've searched around the forum for hours on looking for dimensions for the Ka50 cockpit and have found none.
ZQuickSilverZ Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I have looked to with no luck Meatwad. I can send you some tech data from a KA-50 pit designer if you like. His plans are accurate to the millimeter. I have also modeled these in 3D using Google Sketchup. I need, I need, I need... What about my wants? QuickSilver original. "Off with his job" Mr Burns on the Simpsons. "I've seen steering wheels / arcade sticks / flight sticks for over a hundred dollars; why be surprised at a 150 dollar item that includes the complexities of this controller?! It has BLINKY LIGHTS!!" author unknown. These titles are listed in the chronological order I purchased them. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ZQuickSilverZ Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 (edited) This is what I have modeled so far from online plans. Keep in mind this is a work in progress and I am NOT a 3d modeler. Alterscape Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 Do any good 3-views of the cyclic control (stick grip) exist? I keep tinkering with the idea of building up an Autodesk Inventor model and printing it on the 3d printer I have access to, but the lack of good drawings/reference photos is daunting.
PeterP Posted May 8, 2012 Posted May 8, 2012 you want to look at this mirror here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=87192 especially at this link: Uuuuaaaah..! I have started building now..! You may find this model in this thread:
