thommydogg Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Hey Guys, First up, I want to thank everyone who helped me figure out firing the mavs (apparent inability to think was the big problem :smilewink:). Second, is it possible to play more than one person online in any maps OTHER than coop ones? I tried setting up a server and only ones me and buddy can play are the co-op, he can join other that i set up but there is no plane for him to jump into. Third, where can I download decent co-op maps? I found 3 all made by same guy and all 3 are same mission with different name and all 3 have some form of glitch. Also any tutorials regarding radio and all the important need to know things about would be great. Lastly, I have seen with MSFS, that there were "clubs" of sorts that you could join and become a member of, have any of you heard or a member, maybe clan would be better word? Someone that will allow a noob such as myself be a member or apply to be. Thanks for all the help folks, you guys are great.
Grimes Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 You can modify singleplayer missions to make them multiplayer compatible. The easiest way to do that is to open the mission up in the mission editor, find the "player" aircraft, copy and paste it and set the skill to "client" You can find several co-op missions on the ED User Files Page The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. WildBillKelsoe Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 but there is no plane for him to jump into. Open the mission in the editor. Add a new aircraft object/side US/A-10. In the skill drop-down menu for that aircraft, select client. If you can't set him as a client, then create a new group of A-10 aircraft (now you have your own group (for instance Ford) and an extra group (Enfield). In the new group (e.g. Enfield) set his skill to client and he should be able to fly with you. Also any tutorials regarding radio and all the important need to know things about would be great.
