Ogrex Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 alt-9 disables autopilot, A turns a from of it on and off, but the alt-6 can only be turned off via alt-9 IDK about the not closing issue
104th_Maverick Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 The trim light your talking about is off because the trim is not centered. LCtrl + T centers your trim. As Ogrex mentioned 'A' does not turn your autopilot off. Essentially what your doing at the moment is having the autopilot on then switching it into a different mode thinking your turning it off! I suggest a few things to you my new friend! First! Goto your single player Options and goto your controls for your SU-25 then select the AUTOPILOT controls. You ll notice that they are all set as Alt+1 etc ... Change them all so they are all the same numbers but you don't need to press Alt first. So rather than pressing Alt_1 you just press 1 on the numpad keys, this is the way I have it set up. I have 1-6 mapped on my Numpad for easy access and I also set Numpad 0 (the number 0) as my autopilot disengage button. Generally speaking you should not be using 'A' in game.... No there is nothing wrong with it however it is best not to use it and fly the aircraft yourself or by using your autopilot modes (1-6 not A) The 2 modes I use the most are Mode 1 (attitude hold) and Mode 3 (Altitude and wings level hold) I never use 'A' at all. You should try just using these two modes and see how you get on. I'm not sure whats happening with your problems trying to exit the game... I tend to say this to everyone who has problems with FC2..... uninstall it and reinstall it.... No its not perfect advice... but everytime something goes wrong at my end.. I do the above and it works out alright! Good luck 104th_Maverick [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 104th Phoenix Wing Commander / Total Poser / Elitist / Hero / Chad www.104thPhoenix.com www.facebook.com/104thPhoenix My YouTube Channel

104th_Maverick Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 A does not disengage the autopilot once you have pressed Alt1-6 you have to press Alt-9 to disengage the autopilot Or change it to 0 on your num pad as I suggested above. Dont use A ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 104th Phoenix Wing Commander / Total Poser / Elitist / Hero / Chad www.104thPhoenix.com www.facebook.com/104thPhoenix My YouTube Channel
