Suchacz Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 (edited) Is there any way to assign JOY_RZ (X52 pro) to differential brakes? In "options menu/controls/axis commands" there is one axis for each wheel, but I want to use the handle - twist to control both wheels. Turn it left for left wheel and vice versa. Landing gear brake is set on throttle rotary and separate rudder control is on my racing wheel brake and throtle pedals  Edited May 15, 2012 by Suchacz Per aspera ad astra! PeterP Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Not exactly what I had in mind while recording this video.... ,but same can be done with your twist-rudder and the wheel brakes:
Suchacz Posted May 15, 2012 Author Posted May 15, 2012 Thanks for your reply, it looks very promising. I'll give it a try :joystick: Per aspera ad astra! Suchacz Posted May 22, 2012 Author Posted May 22, 2012 Thanx again, it works pretty well. Only problem was, that those wheel brake axis arent oriented in the same way, they are opposite. So I had to make a user curve for right wheel axis. Per aspera ad astra! PeterP Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 curious: Why you didn't simply inverted that axis in-game via the axis-tune panel ?
Suchacz Posted May 22, 2012 Author Posted May 22, 2012 I didn't managed to set the right curve... maybe it is better way than mine :music_whistling: I will try it lately Per aspera ad astra! Suchacz Posted May 26, 2012 Author Posted May 26, 2012 (edited) The problem is, that those axis has opposit direction, while the input has the same one. If you check the "Invert" box, than you will invert the curve AND the input too, and that is the problem. I want to invert ONLY the curve and leave the input alone (or vice versa) I didn't find other solution, than my own "user curve" Your example is briliantl clear, but it has a little difference. Both of your axis has the same direction as your input. Try it by yourself, you will meet the same problem as me :smilewink: If you don't understand this, than it's not your fault (dear Mr.PeterP), it is fault of my english teacher :music_whistling: Edited May 26, 2012 by Suchacz Per aspera ad astra! PeterP Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 please post a picture of your curve-settings- so I get a idea what you have done/need - and than I will try to simulate this on my system.
