Ratfink Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Just wondering, will I be able to see FC3 pits in the glory of 6DOF with TrackIR5? Blaze Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 (edited) Most likely not. That would require more work than just making 3D cockpit models. It would have to go further into cockpit dll's and folders upon folders of scripts written to bring the displays into the new models, as EDM uses a totally different method for the cockpit systems than the older CMD models. With that amount of work, each jet might as well be sold as its own module at that point. Word is that a 3D F-15 cockpit is in [VERY] early development, but future implementation of it is unknown. However, this could be an area for some 3rd Party Development...new cockpit replacements. Who knows!
