TrackIR stopped working after installation of A-10C beta module

TrackIR doesn't work any longer while flying the P-51D, but it works fine when flying the A-10C (from DCS World), as far as I can tell it stopped working after I installed the A-10C beta module.

 

I've tried reinstalling the P-51D module but it didn't help.

 

Any ideas?

Remove 'trackir' folder from C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\P-51D\

Thanks, that seems to be the problem, why didn't I think of that myself :doh:

Unfortunately I can't set the commands to TrackIR, for P-51D SIM in Axis commands, the buttons are "greyed" out :(

Delete your saved games config folder. This will remove all of your configs and you will have to do them over.

 

C:\Users\<yourname>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\P-51D

 

Or you could try just deleting the TIR folder inside that one. The sim will recreate them and the problem will likely go away.

 

The concern would be that the TIR lua is not the only one that is corrupt.

It didn't reappear however, but as long as it works I'm happy :)

I am not 100% sure what triggers the recreation, perhaps you need to change something in one of the controllers. I just know it happens at some point.

That's probably it, the control settings are likely not saved to the lua file unless you change something.
