Hi,

I have had world for a few days now and everything was working fine, however i tried to go on to training in order to learn about the su25t and it doesn't load up the training missions screen. Both yesterday and today it seems to stay on the loading screen, and when i check windows task master it doesn't say the program is not responding?!

Is this just a beta glitch?

Regards,

Chris.

There are no training missions for the T-Toad. All training are videos which can be downloaded here:

Ah ok. I went in to missions and found some annotated missions for takeoff nav and landing and gun/rocket training etc.

The thing is i kind of get how to nav - you have to track the circle symbol. However its not very clear, so i used autopilot to follow it and everytime i dis-engage autopilot the aircraft develops a real strong urge to turn left and flip over. Is this normal? You can't seem to get the aircraft to stop doing this despite speeding up/slowing down/pulling a lot of G.

Also is there a way to change the style of nav to the type in the a-10 and alter autopilot to a level heading settings?

It's relatively simple once you get to know it - all you need to do is to fly the plane in such a manner so as to fit the director circle within the aircraft datum as illustrated in the screenshot per #1. If you are offset to the left and low, the director circle will be to the right and high of the aircraft datum. Conversely, too high and to the right, director circle will be offset left and low of the datum in the HUD.

You might also want to use the HSI and ADI for minor course corrections when maintaining a desired heading is important (#2 and #3). See how the yellow lines and white arrow are aligned to the front? Any offset from the desired heading will manifest here on the ADI and HSI.

No, does not sound normal. Without a track I'm however unable to comment further.

LAlt-3 is emergency levelling mode which will automatically trim your aircraft for wings-level flight. Once stabilized, LAlt-9 disengages autopilot.

Hope that helps - please feel free to ask anything if you are still unsure. I can carry on for days speaking about the T-Toad :D

Thanks again for the help, maybe if i press Lalt + 9 to disengage autopilot rather than just pressing A again it will solve the problem.

Secondly it says use Lctrl + ' to cycle through waypoints, however the number on the bottom right of my HUD which i presume is the current waypoint I am heading to does not seem to change when i press it.

Will let you know when I reach my next major barrier though :megalol:

Taking for granted that the mission has more than 1 waypoint, the keypress is LCtrl ` as opposed to LCtrl ' (second keypress is the one to the left of the keyboard next to the 1 and above the Tab key on my G15).
