Hi,

Sorry for such a noob question, but I have been searching the net for 2 days now.

I have face track noir working fine.

I have installed the files into the bin folder of A10.

I can see a headtracking axis with absolute view controls assigned to it in the options menu of A10.

But I cant seem to figure out how to turn on the headtracking in A10.

I think I nust not be seeing the correct command in the controlls page of A10.

Help please?

Regards

Bob.

First are you using ppjoy or headtrack.dll - I recommend the latter.

Next question, are you using A10 standalone or DCS World with A10 because headtracker.dll needs to go in slightly different place for DCS World.

Make sure you select Freetrack protocol in FacetracknoIR.

Load the DCSA10.ini (you only need to navigate to it once).

sorry my bad.

I put the files in the "bin" folder, not the "bin/headtracker" folder.

Now working fine.

jees staying still is hard

Hey folks, a question. I downloaded and installed FaceTrackNoir 1.6 and it works fine with DCS:WH 1.1.1.1, but I can't get it to work in DCS:World 1.1.2.1 with DCS:WH 1.1.2.1 (I think all those version numbers are right :ermm:). I'm running Win 7 64 and using a Logitech QuickCam Orbit/Sphere. DCS:WH, DCS:World and FTN are all set to run with administrator permissions.

Hi Bob, I recently got facetracknoir working on A 10C and found a good how to on setting all the curves and deadzone %. It was on this forum I'm fairly certain. Try knocking the EWMA filtering up as well, Should ease the shaking. Sorry GhostDog, can't help you there..

Hey,

Im using facetracknoir in DCSW beta. It is different than in v1.1.1.1

FIX

This is a fix for freetrack, but following this procedure will also get NoIR working. Of course use the A10 folder when you apply this fix.

Have fun looking around!
