I'm fascinated with different cockpits and setups out there. and have to say... some are SOO amazing!!! humbling for sure!! But inspiring... this site, I'm guessing you guys may have already seen, and I know it's a simulator for an F-16, but it sure motivates me to make a much simpler version to feel the submersion... So, anybody care to comment? perhaps share their setup?? mine has an office chair in it, I can tell you that. ha!

p.s. my first post on this forum, hope I didn't post in the wrong place, or do anything against protocol... if I did, I apologize in advance. *smile*

here is the link to the best home built sim "I" have ever seen:

Gunner's pit is pretty, but's more for looks and lacks a lot of functionality.

Red Dog's pit over at ViperPits is my favorite of all the ones I've seen, he's still updating it too, fully functional everything. Plus the all-black MLU pits are just sexy.

Shit-a-brick! I'm very envious. Mind you, a pit of that complexity and fidelity, surely deserves at least three monitors!

"A true 'sandbox flight sim' requires hi-fidelity flyable non-combat utility/support aircraft."

Wishlist Terrains - Bigger maps

Wishlist Modules - A variety of utility aircraft to better reflect the support role. E.g. Flying the Hornet ... big yawn ... flying a Caribou on a beer run to Singapore? Count me in. Extracting a Recon Patrol from a hastily prepared landing strip at a random 6 figure grid reference? Now yer talking!
