BruceRobertson Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 (edited) I'm fascinated with different cockpits and setups out there. and have to say... some are SOO amazing!!! humbling for sure!! But inspiring... this site, I'm guessing you guys may have already seen, and I know it's a simulator for an F-16, but it sure motivates me to make a much simpler version to feel the submersion... So, anybody care to comment? perhaps share their setup?? mine has an office chair in it, I can tell you that. ha! p.s. my first post on this forum, hope I didn't post in the wrong place, or do anything against protocol... if I did, I apologize in advance. *smile* here is the link to the best home built sim "I" have ever seen: http://gallery.virtualthunderbirds.com/ Edited June 14, 2012 by BruceRobertson Intel® Core™ i7-2600K 3.40 GHz,16GB GeForce GTX 560 2GB Video Card 42 inch monitor, TrackIR 5, TM Warthog controllers, TM MFDs Saitek Combat Pro Rudder Pedals, Razor mouse Logitech G510 gaming keyboard
Blaze Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Gunner's pit is pretty, but's more for looks and lacks a lot of functionality. Red Dog's pit over at ViperPits is my favorite of all the ones I've seen, he's still updating it too, fully functional everything. Plus the all-black MLU pits are just sexy. i7 7700K | 32GB RAM | GTX 1080Ti | Rift CV1 | TM Warthog | Win 10 "There will always be people with a false sense of entitlement. Teapot Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Shit-a-brick! I'm very envious. Mind you, a pit of that complexity and fidelity, surely deserves at least three monitors!
