Its good news that 3rd parties are now developing aircraft for DCS world. With so many aircraft already announced will the community have the option to demo an aircraft before purchasing.

 

I for one have a list of aircraft I will definitely purchase (if God spares me i.e. VEAO Euro fighter and DCS F-18 if it exists). There are other aircraft which I would need to try before I buy. This is not a reflection on the developer, just being realistic as to how many hi-fidelity aircraft I will have time to 'attempt to master'.

I would imagine that this is up to each developer to decide for themselves.

I'm not concerned too much on this front. There will be enough people around here that I'm sure a number in depth and thorough reviews will be done before too long after each release for you to judge each ones individual merits. If any particular one has any major flaws I'm sure they will be revealed within hours of release if you are impatient for said reviews (anyone familiar with software and the internet knows how that goes).
