Seanerator Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Whenever I try to start the engines up on DCS A-10C version 1.1.1.1 (64 bit), it doesn't let me. I checked engine startup and the keys are bound to alt+home and ctrl+home and it's not working, even when I tried to put it on my joystick keys. I was looking down at the throttle and it doesn't move at all. Anybody got a fix? P.S. I'm using steam version
joey45 Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 Look for engine throttles under systems. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Seanerator Posted June 17, 2012 Author Posted June 17, 2012 It's not working for both game and simulation mode, the throttle doesn't move at all.
Seanerator Posted June 17, 2012 Author Posted June 17, 2012 And yes I checked the key bindings and all, they were fine. I didn't work in training either.
Seanerator Posted June 17, 2012 Author Posted June 17, 2012 I just made a fast mission airborne and I can turn it on and off fine... It doesn't work at all once I'm starting a new though.
Seanerator Posted June 17, 2012 Author Posted June 17, 2012 Nevermind I found the fix, I had a copy of the regular version of DCS and a steam version installed at the same time, I uninstalled both completely and removed the DCS Warthog saved preferences under C:/Users/Me/Saved_games and now it is working fine. I'm guessing it was a conflict between Steam's preferences and the original's preferences and when I launched it they clashed, I also figured out it was all the commands that include modifiers (e.g. CTRL, ALT, SHIFT etc)
