I'm updating the DCSW Beta to 1.2.0, the question is, how I could make a backup of the current config file (graphics, controls, etx).. Is possible? Thanks in advance.

copy and save in a location of your choosing the config folder from the "my saved games" folder.

It already stores all the config files in your My Saved Games folder, so you can uninstall and reinstall and it will remember all your options automatically.

TRUE

If you do not delete the DCS folder in Saved Games Folder...all your user settings will still be active

Not quite true - if you have tweaked some of the lua files in the game dir (graphics, input, labels, snapviews etc.) you need to backup those manualy.

Well that's common sense, isn't it?

If you want to save files inside the DCS folder itself, of course you have to back those up if you are going to uninstall DCS.

But the stock config files are stores in My Saved Games folder and are still there after uninstall.

The only common thing about common sense is that it's not very common amongst common people.

Not recommended. The key/input bindings have changed since the previous version.

I'd recommend that you start with a clean setup and bind it again.
