If you want to save files inside the DCS folder itself, of course you have to back those up if you are going to uninstall DCS. But the stock config files are stores in My Saved Games folder and are still there after uninstall. Is possible? Thanks in advance. Not recommended. The key/input bindings have changed since the previous version. I'd recommend that you start with a clean setup and bind it again.
