Is it expected that whenever the TGP comes up on one of the MFCDs, FPS drops by about ten? I usually hover at about 30-40 FPS on the game, but whenever the TGP, especially the FLIR comes up, it plummets to 20-22 FPS. Is there anything I can do about this, or is it just given?

i7 @ 3.4 ghz, HD 6700, 12 gb ram.

OK, that and disabling aero works, but is there a way I can get it a 1024 and be at 30 FPS with the FLIR on? It still drops ten FPS, but it is from 40 to 30 now, and for me that is acceptable if there is no other optioin.

targeting pod is quite demanding atm, but there is few small fixes to gain a few frames.

 

MFD_render_params

two_pass_always = false; = was set to true ,

 

 

i think this tells the video card to run 2 pass rendering as it says, but if u disable it , improves frame rates

by a few frames, this is the result i got.

 

i didnt notice any side effects to much, maybe some reduced visuals through the TGP pod display.

 

find this line in

 

\DCS World\Config\ graphics.CFG
