Installation question

Hi all, about to install the new DCSW 1.2.0, and on my rig my C:\ drive (where I have A-10C 1.1.1.1 and BS2 Upgrade 1.1.1.1 and BS1 1.0.2) has 58GB free. Whereas my F:\ drive (mostly pics & vids etc) is 730GB free!

 

I guess it would be wise to install to F:\ but will the A-10C and BS2U modules for DCSW still find the license keys & activations for the stand-alones on C:\?

 

I guess they would via the registry, but I've spent too many hours at my pc lately fixing issues! If it's gonna be a hassle, I'll install to C:\

DCSW 1.2.0 and related modules (bs2, a10c etc) just needs to be installed together.

You can do that on your F:

 

Your other A10, BS2 previous versions (and folders) do not mix with 1.2.0 - but 1.2.0 will reuse the same license and activations for the A10C and BS2.

License Activation is stored in your registry - and not on your C: / F:.

i know some had issues with installing to an SSD, but i had none, nor did i have issues with the default location.
