Any incoming tweaks to the way the AI interprets your waypoints?

 

As it is now they try to follow the track instead of the heading. And that causes total chaos when you order 5 vehicles line abreast to turn 120 degrees to either side. I would like the group to do a smooth turn to the new heading. Not to step on the brakes, and then try to turn. The result is often a big furball and it really annoys me.

 

And we must be able to select units like you do in 99.99% of all RTS titles on the market. Simply drag a box around the units you want to select. And split up a group in 2, and group different units with CTRL+1 like you do in RTS games.

 

CA has a lot of potential but we need a few game critical changes and additions. I will elaborate tomorrow when I'm not in my bed writing on the iPad.

 

Just wanted some constructive feedback started here.

IMO I'd like to see an interface to match Supreme Commander - it is very very early days for ED and the CA concept, let's wait and see where it goes first.

We mentioned this in another post but I was just playing SupCom: Forged Alliance earlier today. It's the most useful interface/hot key set up I've ever seen in an RTS. Might as well take from the best right?
