Endoz Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 hey, i am kinda new to flight sims been playing IL-2 for a bit and started really getting into them and read a lot of really good stuff about this one and i love the P-51 so i had to get it and check it out. only problem is i cant seem to keep control of my plane at all. i have tried to turn down the sensitivity on my joystick and it helped a little but i still lose control if i try to do any kind of maneuver or even try to climb in altitude for that matter. just looking for a few tips or maybe some help with what i am doing wrong, thanks
TimmyD Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 You can't make hard turns etc with the Mustang without a little bit of flap. Try dropping the flaps a few degrees. Making turns quickly at speed can unsettle the Stang too. Be gentile and learn her limits. ;) [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic90244_1.gif[/sIGPIC]Windows 7 Ultimate 64 on OCZ SSD, (AM3)AMD955BE x4 3.2GHz - GPU AMD6950 x2Gb - 16Gb Ripjaw G-Skill DDR3 PC12800 1600MHz https://www.facebook.com/#!/FerociousFrankie
SmokeyTheLung Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 What timmy said + make sure the game didn't assign your controls in a ridiculous way... by default the sim will assign your rudder axes to elevator control and other fun stuff like that System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer
lobo Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 What Smokey said. Make sure your controls are not cross mapped. Makes for interesting flying if they are...
