Pikey Posted July 14, 2012 Posted July 14, 2012 I can see why this is hard to implement and maybe a temporary feature and not a bug BUT. Vehicle engine noise isn't related to RPM/gear, its directly proportional to speed, even in neutral. So for example if you hit low gear in highspeed you get no increase in engine sound, you just get 'whatever-speed-it-is-noise'. Also, whilst being in the same gear you will hear the engine noises going up and down in frequency just like you were going through the gears. Now, i'm betting you know this because I thought about it and perhaps its a really complicated thing to code and you have a quick implementation there, but it has to be mentioned because its so weird to listen to :) ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *

Relent Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 When driving wheeled vehicles like the Humvee or Stryker, there is a constant sound loop of wheels screeching as if in a hard turn.
Keshman Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Relent I have a similar problem with sound! :( And I wrote about a similar bug! but no answer :no_sad: DCS World » Bugs and Problems » Sound Не говорите что мне надо делать и я не скажу куда вам надо идти… | Asus Z390 | Core i5 9600K | HyperX Fury 32Gb | RTX 2070 | 1TB HDD + Intel Optane memory 32Gb | Thrustmaster F-16C Viper Add-on Grip+TWCS Throttle | Dell WMR | Oculus Quest 2 |
diveplane Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 When driving wheeled vehicles like the Humvee or Stryker, there is a constant sound loop of wheels screeching as if in a hard turn. not a bug its a looped sample its tire rolling scrub and suspension movement. but the engine sounds on the other hand are bugged. rpms not correct. https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.
