Robski Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Hi All, I've attached a benchie for my SSD. It's running the os so maybe skewed the results some what. I've tried everything to get it faster. Plugged into the sata3 port. (other drives into sata2) ACHI mode everything up to date. Can't install ISRT as this just crashes my system on boot. Not sure if this is needed as I'm not using SRT????? Gigabyte z-68A-D3-B3 SSD - OCZ Agility 3 w7 64bit So before I spend anymore time on this..... do these results seem about right????? As always your help very appreciated.

And yes the results look ok, remember those numbers are WORST CASE with certain types of files you will get 400+mb/s while others you will be down to 150. There are certain settings and tweeks you can use to bump up the speed a little but I cannot remember off the top of my head how I did mine although I know for a fact it isnt much faster. 112th_Rossi Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I have the same SSD. I've not tried the benchmark but it does seem a little low. I'll try mine later. Do you have SATA3 connection? It could be (on some motherboards) that theres a couple of SATA3 connections and the others are lesser SATA2 or lower. Check you have connect to the correct SATA port.
Rhinox Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Before we start comparing results, I'd suggest you get the last version of AS SSD benchmark (which as of time of this post is 1.6.4237.30508 ). Your version (1.5.3784.37609) does not support ssd-controllers with on-the-fly compression correctly...
sungsam Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 (edited) May not relate with the Sata controller Speed negotiation of your motherboard, but have a look at post #6 of bellow link ! http://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?99275-NEW!-Bootable-tools-for-OCZ-SSD-s&p=714084&viewfull=1#post714084 Edited July 24, 2012 by sungsam DCS F16C 52+ w JHMCS !
