TampaPowers Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I purchased DCS Black Shark and DCS A-10 from steam and would like to know, if it is possible to use the steam versions for DCS World and if i can get the DCS Black Shark 2 Upgrade for the steam version?

In any event, here now and not sure I completely understand your question but I'll try to answer what I perceive to be your query. Yes, you can use your serials obtained from the Steam purchase to activate the products in DCS: World. That is however where the relationship between Steam and DCS World ends. The two have nothing in common and one cannot be used to run the other. You are best advised to install DCS World together with the A-10C module. The product will already be activated and if not, as said, use the serial obtained from Steam to do so. As for BS, I would advise getting the full BS2 module DCS World for $10 more as it is a helluva lot more convenient than the upgrade which necessitates a BS1 install prior to a BS2 upgrade install. TampaPowers Posted July 27, 2012 Author Posted July 27, 2012 BS has no CD Key Option in Steam so i cannot get a Key, unlike A-10. Can i still just buy the Upgrade to BS 2 without the BS 1 Key? Or how would i go about getting BS 2 because i want to avoid paying the full 40Euro for it.

Just keep in mind that you will always need your BS1 install with the BS2 Upgrade package - If you are happy with that then it's all good. 1 Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career?
