I spent 22 years in the Air Force as a Boom Operator on KC-135s and KC-10s. Your lighting looks great... From the Boom Operator point of view.

The -135 & -10 Lighting is designed for very specific purposes, lighting that helps the Boom Operator do his job , safely effect contact...and lighting that helps the receiver pilot do his job...safety maintain position in the Air Refueling envelope.

The lighting you have modeled, quite nicely I might add, is receiver lighting. While it looks pretty, it is not that relevant to the game because we should be watching the refueling from the cockpit.

The Tanker lighting is what needs work. This link has great information regarding the lights, their names and where they are on the respective tankers.

Like I said... Looks great if your watching the AR.
