Novum Posted July 27, 2012 Posted July 27, 2012 Made a fubar landing and punctured my front tire, manage to stop the jet on the runway, looked at my gear indicator (three green) The sound was like a gear sound being repeated fast. This was in a MP flight and i dont know where the TRK file is. I frapsed it though, ill supply a link if anyones interested
Relent Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Ditto. I had the same issue. It only went away when I shut down the engines, requested repairing, and waited the requisite ~3 minutes.
docfu Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Ditto here... Actually I had an additional problem, I landed but ran off the runway and stopped, landing gear was busted, got it repaired, limped onto the runway and shut the plane down to get a second repair because it broke again and the second time the repair crew didn't fix it. Does repair give you a new plane every time? Or does it only do it once per landing?
EtherealN Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Sounds like you caused physical damage not only to the tyre, but the gear itself. You get the same if causing damage through "bumping" on a flopped takeoff rotation. 159th_Falcon Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 Known bugs, from FC2. Guess not only the good stuff got ported over. Thing is, if you only damage your tires, you won't get repaired. And the landing gear noise, yes indeed in some cases it repeats itself quickly when gear gets damaged. Fastest thing to do to fix is to go back to spectator mode and get a new plane. Maybe these bugs gets fixed in FC3??? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
