i would like to add transparency to a simple fence model i have made. any clues ? the internal structure shows as black where it should be transparent.

 

i have windsock model with some animation in 3d max. how to apply that to the simple model ?

 

any hints or tips would be very welcome.

Same rules apply for animating LOM files with the old plugins. There's really no point to working with LOM files though, anyway. I would stay away from them.

Add White/Red lined texture material Reflection value to ZERO

yeh the right hand side of the sock is a bit awkward presently.

 

man what a ball ache, pardon the pun. placing the fences lol. back to drawing board. tailor made pens for aircraft its going to have to be.

What Ducky means is to set the windsock's Reflection map value in the material editor to 0. By default, it's set to 100. (%) The blue tint you see on its surface is due to the reflection map.
