Sierra99 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 (edited) Hey guys I know this has prolly been covered... However, chatting with a fried last night brought up the following question. I'd like to know it this will work before I build a new computer specifically for this purpose. If I load DCS World on a computer I can fly the SU-25 without purchasing any other modules... If I build a mission with modules NOT installed on that computer I.E. A-10s, KA-50s, and Combined Arms units...can people who own those modules connect to my server? Basiclly the SU-25 would be the "host" module... Right? cichlidfan Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 You cannot use the machine for multiplayer without a module being installed into world. Yes, you could use a machine with just World on it to fly the Su and also to build missions for any module but it will still be a single player machine only without a paid module installed. GGTharos Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 No, not correct. Only an activated module allows you to play an MP game, whether as client or host. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Boomer Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 You need to have at least one payed license to access multiplayer at all. Wishlist: DCS: MiG29M/CMT | DCS: MiG25/31 | DCS: MiG-23MLD | DCS: F16CJ
