mustsafa Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Does changing from Windows 7 32 bit Windows 64 bit+8GB RAM improves the performance of lock on flaming cliffs 2?
EtherealN Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 For flaming cliffs 2, no. For all DCS World modules (BS2, A-10C, CA, P-51D and future FC3), yes. Regarding RAM, depends on your current setup. Mustang Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 FC2 will benefit from x64, as i recall i first used the /3GB switch with Win7 32bit to stop the CTD's.
mustsafa Posted August 2, 2012 Author Posted August 2, 2012 And thanks to both of your replies, but I belive Mustang is right.
Novum Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 In general i belive that the W7 64 is better.. Your computer will use the memory (8gb) better and games will run better. 32 is vintage soon ;)
