Shein Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 While down at college in florida, a buddy of mine and I played DCS Black Shark a lot. I graduated and moved back to PA, he went to washington for an internship, so before we both went out separate ways we flew together one last time (we did all this over LAN) Anyway, the mission turned out pretty epic. I saved the track, and made it into a video! If you'd like to see it, here you are! (pardon the captions, I tried to make it easier for non-KA-50 pilots to understand) Enjoy: :pilotfly:
Devrim Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 It was tasty to watch it (two parts). Thanks. But, in second part, you told about "AP-Heading failure" at 2:52. But it can be seen at 4:35, your AP-FD was on and "Heading" channel wasn't flashing (it's on too). So, actually "Heading" was working properly. Just not functional because of AP-FD, right? I'm sorry, if I am wrong or have misinformation. Thanks. Shein Posted August 6, 2012 Author Posted August 6, 2012 You could be... I'll have to watch again and see whats what. Good catch though... only people on these forums will probably notice things like this haha
Shein Posted August 6, 2012 Author Posted August 6, 2012 Check out the rest, there is a sitting on the wing rescue and everything!
kiko Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I had a really rough time flying my werewolf after getting shot. It's a shame I wasn't able to land at the end, I thought I was going to survive. This is probably one of my favorite missions in Ka-50 2, and it's one that we've flown more than once.
