seikdel Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Just finally got my keys configured and headtracking working again. I was starting up the chopper, and after I requested ground power, the game switched to an external view of my chopper, which was suddenly fully powered up and we took off without any control input. Then it crashed. Track attached.
seikdel Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 And again, except this time, it took off, flew the entire pattern for me, landed perfectly, parked and shut down. When I exited the mission, it crashed then.
seikdel Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) This keeps happening in the shooting range mission. It seems to occur every time I communicate over the radio while I'm still on the ground. Edit: It just happened again when I turned on my rotating beacon. Edited August 22, 2012 by seikdel
seikdel Posted August 31, 2012 Author Posted August 31, 2012 Turns out it was a PIBKAC. Rotor tip lights was on the same macro on my stick, and was still set to RALT j. It's supposed to be RCTL RALT j. RALT j has been changed to "jump to selected aircraft", which apparently makes AI take over in SP. Oh well, mystery solved.
Nate--IRL-- Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 (edited) Thanks for letting us know - I'll report it. EDIT:- I knew this sounded familiar - it occurs when using old Input Configs IIRC. Default Keys for rotor tip lights are now RCTRL-RALT-J Nate Edited August 31, 2012 by Nate--IRL-- Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
