The ticket has been sumbitted for weeks but no responce yet.

the error msg is invalid series number and the boxed a10c is not binded to my online store account. the initial multiplayer login is supposed to be the binding procedure for boxed version so it's either sth wrong with this procedure or my a10c serieral number has been binded to another account(which could be the case but i can't recall when or what the account name is).

Have you checked this link to see what serial numbers are bound to your account?

  1. Login to the DCS website.
  2. Copy-paste the link http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/myserials.php into the address bar of your web browser and press Go.

It is bound to the ED (Eagle Dynamics) e-Shop and your account only if you buy a digital copy directly from the ED e-shop.

If you have bought a Boxed copy you will have to keep your manual where the key is printed on.

In detail:

ED pays Starforce for the DRM...

When you buy a digital copy through the ED E-Shop ED knows your account and can add the Key they got from Starforcre to it.

If you have bought it at a different place (Steam) or a boxed copy - ED has no clue which key you have owned.

And how should the validation process look like....

You are only able to bind serials: Serial numbers management for multiplayer (NOT StarForce!)

but not the keys.

Serials = Eagle Dynamics

Keys = Starforce

Thanks mate. Actually I just found the user name the a10c was bound to...

So problem solved. I unbind the serial then bind it to my main account. Please close this thread.
