marcos Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Seems to always drop the bombs 10+m short of where you release, the Su-25T reticule seems to drop them spot on. You kind of have to program yourself to wait until the sight has passed the target.
BlueRidgeDx Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 Could not duplicate. Ops check good. "They've got us surrounded again - those poor bastards!" - Lt. Col. Creighton Abrams
marcos Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 I don't think it's a bug, just an observation from many many CCIP runs in both aircraft.
Pyroflash Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 It's not, the CCIP reticule is pretty much around where the bombs hit. Did you try to input correct wind/temps in the LASTE page? I think it only affects CCRP, but I could be wrong. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
marcos Posted August 22, 2012 Author Posted August 22, 2012 Haven't looked at the LASTE page, where's that? I only used CCIP for unguided bombs because CCRP is very inaccurate. With the Su-25T CCIP aiming I can take out the eye of a badger but with the A-10C aiming I have to wait until the dot is 5-10m past where I want the bomb to land.
