IADC Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 Bill what programe do you use for ingame flight capture? Does it record the sound as well?
Shaman Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 (edited) What are you working on precisely? How many msgs/sentences to record? Do you have a "text" you'd like to hear as sample? IADC Posted August 28, 2012 Author Posted August 28, 2012 Sorry only got the first half of your message. Yes I write the full scripts for my missions, all the voice actor needs to do is read out the scripts as shown with the right emotion for the script and then send it back to me. I then include all the special effects and it goes into the triggers.
Rusty_M Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 Do you want any particular accent? I have a stage mic and should be able to get some good quality audio to you. If you want it to sound like it's said over a radio, I don't have the know-how to do that. The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine! http://www.twitch.tv/rusty_the_robot https://www.youtube.com/user/RustyRobotGaming
IADC Posted August 30, 2012 Author Posted August 30, 2012 Rusty, are you saying that your stage mic set up can change voices from one accent to another. ie. your location is Edinburgh (great music festival BTW) so i presume you are a Scotsman. Can you make yourself sound American for example? Or even have a non descript accent.
WildBillKelsoe Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Bill what programe do you use for ingame flight capture? Does it record the sound as well? I use fraps to record game + aero desktop. I haven't tried recording my own voice inside the sim cuz mostly I play singleplayer. However, I can try if you wish. It would yield a more predictable result given the context.
