Britchot Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I'm trying to expand to DCS: World from A-10C 1.1.1.1 but I have a peculiar problem. I've set up the controls and created a pilot in the logbook; when I start an instant action, single mission, or campaign mission I am restricted to an outside view only while someone flies the aircraft I'm supposed to be controlling. I tried opening a mission in the Mission Editor and saving it in DCS: World but it had the same results. Flying the Su-25 works fine. Do I have an A-10C module install problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it? Devrim Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Have you got (bought and) installed a module such as A-10C or Ka-50? 1 Intel i7-14700@5.6GHz | MSI RTX4080 SuperSuprimX | Corsair V. 64GB@6400MHz. | Samsung 1TB 990 PRO SSD (Win10Homex64) Samsung G5 32" + Samsung 18" + 2x8"TFT Displays | TM Warthog Stick w/AVA Base | VPC MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle | TM MFD Cougars | Logitech G13, G230, G510, PZ55 & Farming Sim Panel | TIR5 & M.Quest3 VR >>MY MODS<< | Discord: Devrim#1068

Britchot Posted August 31, 2012 Author Posted August 31, 2012 (edited) I have owned the A-10C 1.1.1.1 version and installed the 1.2 module by entering the serial number. There are "$" on everything but A-10C and the Su-25T, that should indicate that it is correctly registered. I believe I followed those instructions accurately but I guess I'll go over them again. It could be the saved data from the 1.1.1.1 version affecting it. Devrim Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I have no idea about the problem in "instant action". However, if you call a mission or campaign (etc.) that was created in previous version, open it in Mission Editor and click on your aircraft. Check the "Skill" row. It must be "Player". PeterP Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Did you installed everything with administrator rights?

I checked that out with a free flight, it was set to player. Thanks or the suggestion. Did you installed everything with administrator rights? I don't recall... I will definitely make sure of it when I reinstall tonight, thanks.
