??? Unexpected problem with main view (F1) ???

Hello

I wonder if someone could kindly help me, I have a new problem. I have been flying DCS since LOMAC , day 1, and never had this before :

I was fiddling with the snapviews for my brand new version of DCS A-10C (World version, 1.2) with the usual procedure : bringing in one snapview with RCtl-Num0 and then the desired Numpad #, going back to normal F1 view, adjusting the angle, saving this angle with RAlt-Num0, and so on for my favorite snapviews.

At some point a few minutes ago, I realized that my main F1 view is no longer centered normally but strongly tilted downwards ??? (see attached screenshot). (the screen is a bit wide because I am on 3 screens with TripleHeadtoGo).

I am using Tir and when I hit the center command, I get that angle too??? Is there a parameter somewhere in the config or views that I could correct to look directly forward in front of me rather than downwards like that???

thanks for your help!

In DCS I fly jets with thousands of pounds of thrust...

In real life I fly a humble Cessna Hawx XP II with 210 HP :D

solved!

SOLVED!

Thanks to PeterP!

I was doing intense search and found this thread :

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1397940&postcount=2

where I found what values account for what in the cockpit default view...

BUT... it still didnt work until I realize that IF YOU SAY FALSE TO usedefaultsnapviews, the file that will be used by the simulator is no longer the defaultSnapViews but rather users/yourname/saved games/DCS/config/view/SnapViews.lua

There, I was able to edit the values for the default cockpit view (F1), lines 1045 to 1051 in version 1.2 and get rid of my problem.:)

Thanks PeterP

Your welcome - every time again!

(sorry didn't saw your post before - but as I see: the forum-search is not so useless as many say !;))

Yep, Peter's post is pretty much the only reason I didn't throw my joystick through my monitor at frustration at this otherwise-wonderful sim's rather unwieldy* camera system. ; )
