upupandaway Posted September 5, 2012 Posted September 5, 2012 (edited) Hello there, I found a little bug in DCS that occured while flying the Ka-50. I think I remember there being discussions about similar problems in the past, but a quick search in the bug forums and with the search function revealed no similar recent threads to me - so here it is: Apart from the player helo there is one A-10C and another Ka-50. The Ka-50 approaches first to land, gets disrupted by me, cyrcles back and lands not far in front of the now approaching A-10. At the end of the runway the A-10 crashes into the Ka-50, apparently entirely unaware of its presence... Here´s the track: AI_taxi_crash.trk Running on ASUS N75S with Win7 64 BTW gotta say again - nice damage model and please excuse my crappy flying. :D Edited September 6, 2012 by upupandaway [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Deedle, deedle!
upupandaway Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 Bump. There´s also another bug related to landing: The three are all part of one flight, the missing A/C has already landed, so I´m guessing one of the remaining A/C circled around again and landed with the other 2, this time without crashing... Track is broken unfortunately, as usual... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Deedle, deedle!
Megagoth1702 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 Ai on airfields is retarded. Some parts of DCS are a mess atm. :( Nothing to do but post tracks and hope for fixes... upupandaway Posted December 3, 2012 Author Posted December 3, 2012 Yeah, guess you are right. I don´t expect this to be fixed anytime soon, since it´s all part of the ATC/taxi-complex, but I would like to know if it is known and on a list somewhere, because it´s a really ugly bug. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Deedle, deedle!
Megagoth1702 Posted December 3, 2012 Posted December 3, 2012 (edited) Yeah, not many ressources are available for bug fixing at the moment, stuff takes a lot of time. :( All we can do is post tracks and annoy the shit out of the tester team. And all they can do is check the tracks and post the bugs on the bugtracker and somehow try to annoy the shit out of developers. Maybe someday we will get a way to be able to fix this stuff OURSELVES, like the LOD fix Mustang always provides. Patience eh. :-/ Edited December 3, 2012 by Megagoth1702 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] System specs:2500k @ 4.6 GHz 8GB RAM HD7950 OC'd Win7 x64 Posting tracks to make your DCS better - attention bump incoming!
