Konovalov Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Hi all. Just noticed Dell Australia have a 3 day sale on and the Dell U3011 can be had for AUD $1189. Is this too good to miss? Are there any owners of this big beast and what is the minimum graphics card that I would need with DCS for this resolution 2560 x 1600? Would a GTX670 get the job done? My GTX460 is due for an upgrade soon. scheffchen Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I love my u3011 - best monitor ever. i used a dual gtx 580 to play dcs, but a single will do fine as well (with decreased detail level of course) Have fun :-) 9900k, 2080TI, 64GB, ssd, valve index, Thrustmaster on virpil, virpil cm2 throttle, tpr pedals, mfd.
TZeer Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I'm running 2560x1440 with two 580GTX 1,5gb in SLI, runs good. But It lacks enough VRAM. If I run without MSAA and TSAA it runs fine. But some times my VRAM maxes out and I get FPS drop. If I activate any form of MSAA I'm constantly bottle necked by the lack of VRAM.
