World has stopped loading

DCS World has suddenly stopped loading. All appears OK at first then the black screen stops loading at 10% & then crashes to a message that "DCS has stopped working". I have tried restore which has worked in the past but no joy.

I am running W7 64bit & REALLY don't want to have to reload everything. Any ideas gratefully received. Multiplayer works fine & the old A10C & BS2 also load OK.:mad:

Try renaming your c:\Users\yourname\Saved Games\Dcs\ Folder tempararely and let the game recreate it, IF it fires up ok after that, you know you have an issue with your keyboard/other input configs. Best to reconfigure input devices again if this fixes it, if not just delete the new dcs folder and rename your old dcs folder back to its original name.

 

I had this happen do me once before, where the game corrupted the keyboard/joystick config files and would crash on load up.

Tried your suggestion, but unfortunately no luck. Still stops loading at 10%. Looks like a reinstall required. Curses!
